Seeing beyond the storms of life

A while back I was driving home through a storm — dark clouds, wind-driven rain, thunder and lightning — when the rain eased just enough for a patch of blue sky to break through. And it struck me: that blue had been there the whole time. The storm hadn't removed it; it had only hidden it from view.

The hard seasons of life work the same way. The clouds are real, but they were never the whole sky. This short devotional walks through seven truths that stay true above every storm — the realities that define who we are in Christ, gathered under the words BLUE SKY. It's the fruit of my own walk through a difficult season, and I pray it lifts your eyes the way that patch of blue lifted mine.
